Think of the world of advertising. A Nike ad is not going to look or play like an IBM ad… different audience, different product, different message. If your site features medical information or services, it requires quite a different strategy than a site that sells fine art. We are not opposed to employing visual "grabbers" to get your message across as long as they are in keeping with your theme, they don’t take long to download, and are interesting and in keeping with your business identity and your target audience’s understanding. The web is a visual medium, we leverage that to your advantage.
